“Hi, I’m Erica Rodriguez, an EMDR therapist and licensed social worker. Healing is something your mind and body are both capable of—especially when given the right support. My journey into this work began in an unexpected place: a boxing gym. Through movement, I experienced how the body can process stress and release emotions that words alone can’t always reach. That experience continues to shape the way I show up for my clients today.

I work with adults, kids, and teens from diverse backgrounds, offering a collaborative and culturally responsive approach to therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you work through trauma, navigate life transitions, and build tools for emotional regulation and self-awareness. I integrate talk therapy alongside EMDR to help you reprocess the past, feel better in the present, reconnect with your body, and access your inner resilience.

Healing doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or out of reach. It can be steady, empowering, and deeply transformative.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out and schedule a session. I’d be honored to support you on your healing journey.”

Erica Rodriguez is an EMDR Therapist and Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University. Her path to EMDR and somatic therapies began in a boxing gym, where she experienced firsthand how movement can help process and release stress, trauma, and stored emotions. That experience shaped her belief in the body’s innate capacity for healing and continues to inform her integrative, body-centered approach to therapy.

Erica brings years of experience in healing-centered coaching, supporting both youth and adults from diverse backgrounds. Erica is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can process trauma and reconnect with their inner resilience. Recognizing the strong connection between mind and body, she thoughtfully incorporates somatic practices to support holistic healing and lasting change.

Erica’s approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible for everyone. She is especially passionate about helping clients navigate life transitions, manage stress, and build tools for emotional regulation and self-awareness. In her free time, Erica enjoys gardening, camping, and boxing; practices that help her stay grounded, present, and connected to both nature and her own well-being.
